Meeting with SAC on the Revised Standardisation Law
Following the release of the newly revised Standardisation Law by the National People's Congress on 1 November 2017, the ICT Working Group, Standards & Conformity Assessment Working Group and Quality & Safety Services Sub-Working Group of the European Chamber jointly invited Mr. Wei Hong, Deputy Director General, General Affairs Management Department, Standardisation Administration of China (SAC) to interpret the revised Standardisation Law and its implications for foreign business in China.
Meeting with MIIT Director General Gao Yunhu on China’s Green Manufacturing System
To better understand the essence of green manufacturing and upcoming implementation schemes, the chamber invited Director General Gao Yunhu of MIIT’s Department of Energy Conservation and Resources Utilization (工信部节能与综合利用司) to provide exclusive insights and interpretation on the green manufacturing system and standards, followed by the roundtable discussion with our members.
