Meeting on Export Credits with manufacturing industry
Representatives of the European Chamber’s Insurance and Banking Working Groups met with a delegation of DG Trade experts on export credits. The members were debriefed on the results of the Sixth Export Credits International Working Group that took place in Beijing.

On 15th September, the SCA WG submitted a lobby letter to AQSIQ regarding the implication of its released Announcement on <Valid Normative Documents and Abolishment of Some Normative Documents> in July 2014. This is a joint lobby action among USITO, EUCCC, ECFIC and JEITA. This letter expresses European Industry's position on administrative simplification,and also concerns over potential liability in relation to regulation abolishment, such as labeling specification and other affected technical requirements. The purpose of this letter is to get clarification from AQSIQ.
