During the Meeting, Jiangsu CCPIT firstly introduced the upcoming “The 16th Jiangsu International Agriexpo” which will be held in September. After discussion Chamber confirmed to make it as a chamber support event. Secondly, both sides had a deep discussion on the details arrangement of the outbound Investment event in November.

On June 5th Mr. Joerg Wuttke, President of European Chamber, and a delegation of the European Chamber in Nanjing met Mr. Teng Yong, Member of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, Chair of Foreign Affair Bureau of the Standing Committee.
Mr. Teng Yong warmly welcomed the European Chamber stating that economic activities with European companies are very relevant for the Jiangsu Province and that more than 1/3 of European businesses (operating in China) are based in Jiangsu. He expressed his wishes for the relationship to evolve into a deeper and stronger economic cooperation.
Speaking in reference to the results of the 2014 European Chamber Business Confidence Survey, Mr. Wuttke talked about entering a phase of "normal" development and articulated the necessity of cleaner air, water, and environment.
Information Security Working Group Meeting with DG CONNECT
The meeting was a follow-up on the European Chamber’s proposal‘EU-China Academic Exchange on Cryptographic Research’ held between DG CONNECT and MIIT, with OSCCA and the European Chamber as secondary partners.
