First Direct Chengdu-Lodz Container Train Arrived in Poland Go back »

On Jan. 2nd, the first international direct container train loaded with 715 tons of electronic products made in China arrived at Łódź Olechów station,Poland. The test train with 41 containers departed from Chengdu Railway Station on Dec. 18th. Covering a distance of ten thousand kilometers, the train traveled through 5 countries including China, Kazakhstan, and Russia, Belarus and finally arrived in Poland. The weekly rail container service will be officially launched in March this year. It is now the fastest freight train to Europe, which takes 2-3days less than the existing China-Europe direct container trains.
