Robotic and automation trends in China

On 21st October, the European Chamber invited three speakers to give their views on robotics and automation trends in China. Rosanna Terminio, Managing Partner, AsecorpChina Business Consulting, looked at this topic from a HR point of view, how this development will influence China’s labour market in regard to an ageing society, increasing wages and an overall labour shortage. Franc Kaiser, Director, InterChina, outlined the opportunities and also focused on the differences between European and Chinese costumers. Stefan Sack, CEO, COMAU, gave an outlook on the Chinese market for a robot-producing company and the challenges, such as education, training processes and a high fluctuation.

The event was sponsored by Biospark, a subpark of NETDA, located in the Greater Shanghai region.
