In a seminar on China's Outbound Direct Investments (ODI) on 25th June, Pablo Recio Gracia, Managing Director, EIBENS, presented the overall trends and developments. The main perception of China's ODI lacks three to five years behind reality, as China has in fact already become a net investor. John Xu, Counsel, Linklaters LLP, complemented the seminar with his presentation about decision process and concerns of the Chinese investors as well as the differences between SOE and private companies investing abroad.
