ERGO China Supports Environment-themed Education Program in Shandong Province

On December 18th, ERGO Environment Protection Class took place in Jinan of Shandong Province. Students from local elementary schools attended the class to learn the knowledge of garbage sorting and applied what they had learned in class to the “Clean-Up Activity” afterwards.

During the launch ceremony, Amy Zhu Hang, General Representative of ERGO Group AG in China, stressed the importance ERGO attaches to the cause of environment protection and hoped that the class educates the younger generation with knowledge pertaining to environment protection and enhances the public awareness of climate change, which is ERGO’s key initiative in corporate responsibility to tackle the global challenges.  At the conclusion of the ceremony, she presented Environmental Volunteer Certificates to the participating students as the token of encouragement.

The class is the first leg of the Environment-themed Education Program co-launched by ERGO China and local partners.  More classes will be held in other cities of Shandong.
