As the highlight of the European Chamber’s Provincial Quest to Heilongjiang, on 10th July the Chamber delegation, led by President Davide Cucino, shared a productive exchange with Mr. Lu Hao, the recently appointed Governor of Heilongjiang Province and Former Deputy Mayor of Beijing.
During the meeting, Governor Lu gave a concise analysis of Heilongjiang’s economic structure and its ambitious development plans. Having listened intently to the company representatives on their experience and concerns of operating in Heilongjiang, the Governor encouraged businesses to become “active”, rather than “brave”, with new initiatives in the province, specifically in the agriculture and food, lumber, pharmaceutical, machinery, auto and aviation industries.
