Following a successful trip to Heilongjiang last July, the European Chamber organised our second Provincial Quest Programme, from Tuesday March 25th to Thursday March 27th, to Sichuan, the “Heavenly Land of Abundance”.
This trip is a timely response to the members growing intention of expanding investments in China’s Southwest region, as indicated in the 2013 Business Confidence Survey. Led by President Davide Cucino, members of the delegation met with the provincial leaders of Sichuan, as well as municipal officials from Chongqing and Chengdu.
On March 25th, the delegation met with Chongqing Commerce Commission and discussed the investment environment of Chongqing.
