EBO Worldwide Network Releases CSDDD Position Paper

On 3rd June, the European Business Organisation (EBO) Worldwide Network released its Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) Position Paper. The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China took the lead role in drafting the paper, which represents the voices of over 50 European Chambers globally. Chamber Secretary General Adam Dunnett presented the paper in Brussels to a number of key directorates-general, including the Directorate-General for Trade and the Directorate-General for Internal Partnerships, on the margins of the EBO Worldwide Network Annual General Meeting from 3rd to 7th June. The paper contains 18 recommendations on how to effectively implement the European Union’s CSDDD and create clear pathways for compliance by working closely with companies and governments in third markets.
