The European Chamber’s Maritime Manufacturing & Industrial Services Working Group is delighted to invite you to its next Working Group Meeting “Position Paper V0.1 Discussion and Chairs Election 2021” which is to take place on Wednesday 24th March 2021, 17:30-18:30 pm.
Register online or email Charlotte Svensson atcsvensson@europeanchamber.com.cnbefore Tuesday 23rd March COB. This is an online meeting only, and you will receive the zoom link the day before the meeting.
At this meeting we will discuss the first draft for this year’s Position Paper and review some of recent developments within the maritime sector. The European Business in China – Position Paper (Position Paper) is the European Chamber’s primary annual publication. It delivers to the Chinese Government detailed recommendations for improving the business environment. The Position Paper details how persistent issues, such as limited market access and a complex regulatory environment, prevent European businesses from contributing fully to China’s sustainable development.
At this meeting we will also hold Working Group Chair and Vice Chair Elections for 2021/22. We encourage as many of our members as possible to attend to have their say in the leadership and representation of the Working Group in the year ahead.
Should you be interested in putting your name forward for election, please send your CV and Motivation Letter, stating whether you intend to run for Chair or Vice Chair to Ms. Charlotte Svensson at cSvensson@europeanchamber.com.cn by latest Wednesday 17th March, 18.00. In your Motivation Letter please state why your wish to be elected Chair or Vice Chair and provide a set of goals you have for the WG over the next 12 months as well as your intended contribution to this year’s Position Paper.
