The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to welcome Joseph Lee, Head of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation. His role involves managing inbound and outbound investment between Europe and the US on behalf of the Shanghai Government.
Joseph Lee is a cosmopolitan member of Government whose international career has given him unique insight into the globalisation of Chinese companies and of foreign companies investing in China. Drawing on diverse experience at home and abroad he analyses the role of foreign companies in China during the global recession providing a unique insight into how companies can simultaneously promote shareholder value and social development via core value corporate social responsibility.
