On 27th April, the expansion of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone was officially launched by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. The expansion brings unprecedented opportunities to European businesses in China. On July 27th, Shanghai’s Index fell a dramatic 8.5 percent –the single day largest drop since 2007-, while Shenzhen’s sank by 7.6 percent.
