As a record number of COVID-19 cases spread around the world, things are slowly going back to normal in China. Amid a gradual recovery in production and general business, uncertainties still remain. While the Chinese government has announced several policies aimed at supporting businesses, the full extent of the responses from the government at central and local levels, and speed of recovery from the pandemic in the months to come are yet to be seen.

Among all the difficulties, Government Affairs (GA) teams in multinationals are facing with multiple challenges as well, especially the lack of timely understanding in policies. The reason behind might be the lack of transparency of policy-making process and the discrepancy of Eastern and Western culture. A good and in-depth understanding in policies and their trend is key to corporate operations on daily basis. How to properly avoid misunderstanding and reduce uncertainty is the target of an excellent GA team.

To support you all to cope with the challenge, European Chamber GA Forum is delighted to invite a distinguished speaker and expert, Mr Yuan Haiying, President and Founder of Yuan Associates, to give us a presentation on how should GA team navigate your enterprise on the right track, especially amid COVID-19 pandemic outbreak period. During the Forum meeting, we are going to have the annual election on new Chair and Vice Chair in 2020-2021 tenure.
