European Chamber president Jens Eskelund and CMG co-founder and managing director Markus Herrmann Chen will present the key findings of the report. China is not the same place to do business that it was just a few short years ago. For the right companies and adventurous entrepreneurs, however, this new economic reality can offer not just challenges, but opportunities.

Furthermore, a continuing shift in focus away from business and the economy toward politics and security raises questions as to the future shape of China’s economic landscape. Nevertheless, the Chinese market remains vast, with an entrepreneurial population and a foothold in some of tomorrow’s vital industries, like electric vehicles and solar energy.
