IPR Working Group + Pharmaceutical Working Group (SH + BJ)

Dear Working Group Member,

The next joint IPR Working Group and Pharmaceutical Working Group meeting will be on Thursday 18th November at 4PM. This meeting will give us the opportunity to explore commonalities between the issues faced by both working groups, exchange insights and provide a platform to discuss lobby issues related to IP in China’s Pharma industry.

The meeting will focus on:
- IPR and its relevant adaption in policy making
- Drug exclusivity in CFDA reform

Merge and acquisitions (M&A) activity in China keep gaining momentum in 2015. According to Thomson Reuters, during the first half of the year the value of announced M&A transactions reached 305 USD billion, 61.6% up compared to the same period last year and best record in a six month period in China.
