Process audit and product audit are basic audit methods required by automotive industry OEMs in ISO/TS16949, and are recognized and adopted by automotive manufacturers in various countries. As an updated standard of ISO/TS16949, IATF16949:2016 lists VDA6.3 and VDA6.5 as the core reference manuals in Appendix B. It is the most widely used process audit standard in the automotive supply chain and is suitable for suppliers at all levels of the automotive manufacturing industry, including automobile assembly plants. This course is to organize and implement IATF16949:2016 and training for certification. Through the training, the trainees will know how to cooperate with automotive customers in supplier audit.

How to organize complex digital models, capture enterprise experience and solidify the best practices based on main CAD tools to form valuable "digital assets" is an important topic. Firstly, This course introduces how to build a structure tree of complex products based on the top-down design thinking, establish skeleton document and publish important geometric elements to achieve collaborative design. Secondly, introduce the "three swords" of knowledge engineering, so that students can understand how to digitize the paper-based enterprise or industry standards and rules, embed them into the CAD software, and directly drive the digital model. Finally, a case of "smart ladder" is used to let students understand the top-down design thinking and the preliminary content of knowledge engineering, so as to lay a foundation for further application.
