The CM2025 program officially focuses on ten high tech industries including robotics, semiconductors and New Energy Vehicles. Originally approved by the State Council in 2015, the initiative is a national strategy for China, once considered to be loosely based on Germany's Industry 4.0, to upgrade and modernize various high tech industries.
