Recently the Chinese Think tank iGreen (友绿) released the ‘China Green Real Estate Development 2020 Report’ looking at what has been the biggest driving force behind green development of housing enterprises in China. As green practices and improvements become more necessary to remain competitive in the global housing market, so it comes necessary for practitioners involved in China’s real estate market to become accustomed to making use of green clauses with the well-being of the environment in mind, in addition to adhering to logical business sense. While shrinking barriers restricting access to innovative technologies are a key driving force towards China’s green real estate future, China also urgently needs to develop an index system for evaluating the sustainable development of real estate enterprises in the financial industry.

At this meeting Dr. Juanpeng Huang, iGreen will update members on their just-concluded report and reflect on some of the latest development in the industry. He is joined by Ms Karen Xu, Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications from our member company White Peak who will elaborate on market developments and opportunities.
