The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) and the National Determined Contribution Transport Initiative For Asia (NDC-TIA) project will host this workshop together to:

1. Facilitate international experience sharing on climate strategies, targets and policy making in the transport sector.
2. Provide a platform for relevant stakeholders to discuss the way towards achieving the climate targets in the transport sector, with a focus on four key areas (energy, road freight, aviation and shipping).

On 18 Feb 2020, the Chinese Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced a new application process of Market-oriented Procurement Exclusion (MPE) for Chinese retaliatory duty levied on US-origin products. Since 2 Mar, MOF has started to review MPE applications raised by companies and some applications have been approved.
