Dear Members of Auto Components Working Group,

The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join the upcoming Auto Components Working Group Meeting: Intelligent Vehicle: Challenges and Opportunities to Suppliers at 10:00-11:30 am, 29^th May 2019 at the European Chamber Shanghai Office.

Intelligent is changing the proposition, core capability and technology of the vehicle, which could be recognized as a new wave of revolution to the 100-yr industry. Look back to the prior waves of industry revolution - assembly line, electronics control and electrification - each of which opened new opportunities to external players as well as brought challenges to existing players. With the advent of this new wave, industry players will be facing major challenges coming from: 1) Cross-industry entrants; 2) Regionality; 3) Supplier tier refactoring. Under such situation, we would like to explore new territories of automotive parts industry created by intelligence features and share our thoughts on potential breakthrough paths.

During the meeting, Mr. Yichao Zhang, Senior Manager, EY will deliver a presentation on Intelligent Vehicle: Challenges and Opportunities to Suppliers, the presentation will be followed by a Q&A session with interactive discussions on the topic. Here below please find the tentative agenda.

Yichao is a Senior Manager of Greater China Strategy and Operations at EY Transaction Advisory, with 8 years of consulting experience, focusing on automotive, logistics, pharma, and internet industries. He has comprehensive project experience in automotive industry, including OEM, supplier, Auto finance, mobility service and NEV-eco new entrants; and he’s specialized in helping traditional companies to formulate and implement digital business strategy, including automotive OEMs and suppliers.
