From 15th to 18th July, China held the Third Plenum, a major conference held every five years to chart the overall direction of the country's long-term economic and social policies. This year, the plenum has set a new economic blueprint for China, including pushing for high-quality development, building institutions to support comprehensive innovation, and improving the mechanisms for high-level opening up.
