The Third Plenum is widely considered one of the most important events in China's political agenda and is usually focused on various aspects of policy reform for the country. From 15th to 18th July, China held the Third Plenum, a major conference held every five years to chart the overall direction of the country's long-term economic and social policies. This year, the plenum has set a new economic blueprint for China, including pushing for high-quality development, building institutions to support comprehensive innovation, and improving the mechanisms for high-level opening up.

To further advance the commercialization and large-scale application of innovative energy technologies between China and Europe, the 3rd China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum is planned to be held in Guangzhou, China on 27-28 August 2024.About 200 delegates from governments, companies, financial institutes, academies and associations from China and Europe will participate in the Forum, and Mr. Ren Jingdong, the Deputy Administrator of NEA will attend.
