The new PRC Company Law, effective from 1 July 2024, has brought multiple changes – inter alia related to corporate governance and enhanced responsibilities and liabilities of company organs. A key change is that for many limited liability companies, including foreign-invested companies, employee representative(s) in the Supervisory Board or in the Board of Directors are required.
