2020 is a unusual year for all. The aviation companies cannot escape from the disaster caused by Pandemic. The aviation industry is experiencing parallelly the hardship and hopes together. Obviously, we need work more closely than ever, and the WG is actively lobbying for you.
During the past five months, the chairs of A & A working group overcame the difficulties and led the WG to make things happen: we organized more than thirty public or close meetings and activities on the action plans, COVID 19 impact analysis, Position Paper drafting, APP advocacies, Launch of the Aviation Report, Exchange with CAAC on legislation , Air cargo transport seminar, Sustainable development seminar, Resumption of airlines lobby meetings, etc, this is not the end, more advocacies need to be carried out in the second half of the year.
EU already reopened its border, and China recovers steadily on domestic market. We believe that the EU aviation industry will find solutions to face the challenges and catch the opportunities. Furthermore, we also believe that the EU aviation industry could play a larger role in China, and Aviation & Aerospace WG may build a trustful platform for the EU -China cooperation. In order to realize WG and members’ expectation, We are longing to meet you to share your experience, your ideas and perspectives for the WG’s plans and actions.
