Starting from November 1st 2008, Mr. Wang Weiguo is appointed as Vice President of Siemens Ltd. China and General Manager of Siemens Jiangsu.In his new position, Wang Weiguo is fully responsible for all Siemens business in Jiangsu province and committed to the establishment and strengthening of more win-win partnerships between Jiangsu and Siemens.
Before Mr. Wang Weiguo took this position, he was the Vice President of Siemens Ltd. China and General Manager Zhejiang since December 1st 2004. He successfully drove a positive provincial business development, co-coordinated and fostered cross-group activities, established and maintained win-win government and key customer relationship.
In his career path, Wang Weiguo has been engaged in many areas of telecom industry in Germany and China at Siemens. With strong expertise and rich administration experience, he was executive project member for the JV - Siemens Shanghai Mobile Communications Ltd., division manager of product marketing, head of mobile network sales in Siemens Shanghai Mobile Communications Ltd., Vice President of mobile data market development China at Siemens HQ, and Vice President of national account management at Siemens Ltd., China.
Wang Weiguo was married with two sons. He likes golf, travel and is a film lover.
