Meeting with Administration for Quality and Technology Supervision of Guangdong Province Guangzhou, April 15th, 2010, The European Chamber, PRD delegation met with the Administration for Quality and Technology Supervision (AQTS) to present the European Business in China Position Paper 2009/2010. The meeting was warmly hosted by the Director-General Mr. Lai Tiansheng and his team from different divisions including Quality Supervision, Policies and Regulations divisions as well as the WTO/TBT Notification, Consultation & Research Center of Guangdong Province. Both sides expressed willingness for a future cooperation which will focus mainly on exchange of best EU practices on technology standardization and IPR as well as further dialogue between AQTS and European companies on some the projects run by AQTS.
