European Chamber Chengdu Chapter wants to kindly invite you to participate on the17th of May event. The main idea is: a) To express the thankfulness of Chengdu & Sichuan governments to all European companies which donated and helped after the earthquake on the 12th of May 2008 in Wenchuan. b) To show reconstruction fruits, 2 years after the earthquake, and the developments of several economic parks. c)To promote the new Chengdu development strategy of "Modern Garden City" and the project of 13th sectoral zones.

We will visit Dujiangyan (a village, which was heavily hit by the earthquake), high-tech zone and economic zones of Chengdu. A conference is to be held by Mayor Mr. Ge Hongling to talk about the "Modern Garden City" concept and 13 sectoral zones strategy. Over 30 Chinawide leaders have confirmed their presence, including:KPMG, AMB Real Estate, German Rub Berlin GmbH, Cocacola China, Luxes, Intel, Air Liquide.
