The European Chamber reaches out to Hangzhou and the Yangtze River DeltaOn the 27th and 28th of February, representatives from the European Chamber in Shanghai visited the city of Hangzhou, in Jiangsu Province. The trip, led by General Manager Mr. Thomas Felber, was a fact-finding mission designed to reach out to the Yangtze River Delta.
Over the two days, the European Chamber met with representatives from the Hangzhou municipal people's government, both the municipal and provincial foreign trade and economic bureaus, local development zones as well as representatives from Chinese and international industry.
The trip was a success in terms of reaching out to Hangzhou and also in terms of gathering information about the region. We hope to develop and maintain a close relationship with the city of Hangzhou and the larger Yangtze River Delta in the future.
