Results of the 2007 Nanjing Board ElectionNanjing Sheraton Kingsley - March 20th, 18:30
March 20th saw the third annual board election of the Nanjing Chapter of the European Chamber. This event provided a valuable opportunity for member companies have their say in deciding the direction of the Chamber's activities on a local level while also getting an update on the direction of the organisation with a nationwide focus.
The 2007 election saw the standing down of two Board members. Paul Booms (DSM Nanjing Chemical Company Ltd.) and Raymond Li (SAES Getters (Nanjing) Co., Ltd) have supported Nanjing chapter since was established in 2004 and the Chamber's sincere thanks go to them for their constant support and effort over the past three years. Helmut Guesten was unopposed in his move for reelection as Chairman and we welcome him in for his third term.
The voting concluded with the arrival onto the board of two new members. We would like to welcome Joachim Braem (Richter EP (Nanjing) Co., Ltd) and Christophe Lauras (Sofitel Galaxy Nanjing).
