Inauguration of the European Chamber new office

The Shanghai chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) has moved to a new office and on June 20th the official inauguration of the new premises took place. For this special event Mr. Joerg Wuttke (newly elected President of the EUCCC), Mr. KK Ho (Vice President and Chairman of the Shanghai Chapter), Mr. de Boisseson (former Vice President and Chairman of the Shanghai Chapter) and ExCo members were present together with Mr. Michael O’Sullivan and Mr. Ian Key, the new and current Secretary General respectively of the European Chamber. We were honored to have Mrs. Shang Yu Ying, Deputy Governor of Luwan District, present as well. In addition to the above mentioned people, all European Consuls and representatives of national Chambers in Shanghai were invited to participate.   A welcome speech was given by Mr. KK Ho, followed by Mr. Joerg Wuttke and Mrs. Shang Yu Ying, who stressed the success and the promising future of the European Chamber, Shanghai chapter. The new premises were then officially inaugurated by Mrs. Shang Yu Ying and Mr. Joerg Wuttke with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Another reason to celebrate this evening was the 5th anniversary of the European Chamber’s presence in Shanghai, which was mentioned in the speech by both Mr. KK Ho and Mr. Joerg Wuttke. After the official ceremony, photos were taken and the guests had the opportunity to network and enjoy drinks and canapés.
