EU Scholarship Available at CEIBS 

CEIBS is now accepting applications for the EU-China BMT Scholarship which, from 2008 to 2012, will provide 12 MBA scholarships a year -- six full and six partial -- for applicants from China’s less developed regions. 

The scholarships are open to those who are either native born, Hukou holders, currently employed or previously employed for a two-year period in 21 selected provinces. The 21 provinces that meet the criterion of annual GDP of less than RMB20,000 are:
- Guangxi, Yunnan, and Hainan in the South;
- Hebei, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Shanxi in the North;
- Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Qinghai, Gansu, Tibet in the West; and
- Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Anhui, Hunan, Jiangxi in Central China.

CEIBS will choose 20 qualified applicants to interview. The final list of successful applicants will be released on 20th June, 2008.

欧盟中欧MBA奖学金正式实施 

经过前期准备，中欧国际工商学院面向中国大陆中西部地区MBA学生的“欧盟奖学金”于日前实施。该奖学金是欧盟“中国－欧盟商务管理培训项目”的重要内容之一，旨在帮助来自国内欠发达地区的求学者完成中欧MBA学业。

这一奖学金计划从2008年到2012年，每年为来自中国欠发达省份的12名MBA学生提供与MBA课程等长时间（18个月）的6名全额奖学金和6名半额奖学金。这些欠发达省份主要是指人均GDP低于2万元的21个中西部省份，包括：广西、云南、海南、河北、黑龙江、吉林、山西、新疆、陕西、宁夏、青海、甘肃、西藏、河南、湖北、四川、重庆、贵州、安徽，湖南和江西。

凡在以上地区工作2年以上（含2年），或者出生地或户籍在以上地区的中欧MBA申请人均可申请该奖学金。中欧国际工商学院将筛选出符合条件的20名申请者参加面试，最终获奖名单将于2008年6月20日确定。
