We are deeply shocked by the disaster and saddened by the loss of life. So far, there has been no loss of life among the Member Companies of the European Chamber Chengdu Chapter, and only a handful of minor injuries. Some damage to facilities has been reported, with Lafarge’s factories in Dujiangyan and Jiangyou seemingly the most heavily affected.
The disaster areas are now in urgent need of the following materials for earthquake rescue and relief. We hope all enterprises and individuals can provide any assistance in their power.
Life生活类:
- Food: Instant noodles, bread, biscuits, hams, mineral water, etc.

- Necessities: Quilts (preferably new), tents, blankets, sleeping bags, stretchers, generators, flashlights, batteries, candles, respirators, portable water-sanitation equipment, electronic cutting machines, hydraulic machines, jacks, and other light rescue equipment, etc.
