China IPR SME Helpdesk to be launched in Brussels

Following the success of its official launch in Beijing, the China IPR SME Helpdesk will hold its official European launch event in Brussels this Friday, 23 May, using the same format as the China launch with two free half-day workshops for European SMEs and an official launch event which will be attended by European Commission officials and a multitude of EU SME and business associations.

The China IPR SME Helpdesk is a newly launched project funded by DG Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission, which aims to support European Union small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in both the protection and enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in China, through the provision of free information, training and first-line advice targeting the needs and supporting EU SMEs in their decision making with regard to China IPR matters.

The Brussels launch will be held at Résidence Palace International Press Centre. For more information on the event and the Helpdesk please visit www.china-iprhelpdesk.eu.

The China IPR SME Helpdesk is implemented by consortium partners European Chamber of Commerce in China and Development Solutions.
