European Chamber meets Shenzhen Bureau of Trade and Investment Go back »

On 30th May 2008, the PRD Board Members met the Shenzhen BTI (Bureau of Trade and Investment) and had a successful meeting to discuss cooperation possibilities.

The Shenzhen BTI emphasised that their role is to contribute to the improvement of the business environment. The BTI wishes to continue to help European companies by having increased communication with the European Chamber.

Shenzhen BTI is keen to regularly meet the European Chamber, either the Board Members or the Working Group Chairs to answer questions from member companies.

The Shenzhen BTI is willing to make a presentation for the European Chamber members about the investment situation.

The representatives from the Shenzhen BTI were very pleased to receive the European Business in China 2007/2008 Position Paper, presented by the Board during the meeting.
