Invitation to the WICO Forum 2008
Beijing, 27-28 October, 2008
The World Industrial & Commercial Organizations (WICO) Forum is an international conference, initiated and organized by China Federation of Industrial Economics (CFIE) upon approval by the State Council of the P.R. China. As “Communication, Cooperation and Win-win” being its main theme, the Forum aims at strengthening consultation among industrial associations across the world, promoting communication and exchange among Chinese and foreign business communities, facilitating cooperation among enterprises for mutual benefits, and building a platform for multilateral dialogue. Under the kind attention and powerful support of our friends across the globe, the first two sessions of the WICO Forum were successfully held respectively in September 2004 and October 2006, which attracted about 1100 participants in total from over 70 countries and regions.
The 3rd session of the WICO Forum will be held in Beijing from 27-28 October, 2008. Those who attend the 2008 Forum will include Chinese government officials, UN officials, foreign politicians, leaders of international organizations and major industrial and commercial organizations around the world, together with famous entrepreneurs, renowned experts and scholars. The meeting will last for one day and is expected to have around 400 participants. The major topics include restructuring and sustainable economic development, roles of industrial and commercial organizations in economic globalization, and coordinated regional economic development.

Registration
The registration fee is US$300, which includes venue rentals, banquet, simultaneous interpretation, materials and souvenirs, etc. The Forum will arrange for your accommodation, while the expenses incurred shall be covered by yourself. Please complete the Registration Form and the Hotel Reservation Form herein enclosed, and email or fax them to the WICO Forum Office before September 30, 2008.
After receiving your registration form, we will send you a confirmation letter by fax or via email. You are kindly requested to make the payment upon receipt of our confirmation letter.
