The make up of Jiangsu’s Import and export over the first half of this year can be seen as follows: processing trade continued to decrease and general trade increased quickly; due to the continuously widening trade scale, Taiwan remained the largest source of import;  the growth of export of mechanical & electrical products slowed down, the export of traditional commodities took on a steady growth and the export of some high energy consuming products decreased.
