The Consumable and Disposable Medical Devices (CDMD) Advisory Committee was founded 2014 by companies manufacturing basic disposable medical devices, high-value implants and in-vitro diagnostics (IVD). The work of the Advisory Committee has two focus areas: 1. Clinical studies, registration and market supervision of medical devices. 2. The Chinese healthcare reform, including reform of hospital procurement, reform of payment systems for medical services, coverage of medical devices by the healthcare insurance and reform of the Chinese hospital system. The Advisory Committee is active nationwide, offering expertise and policy recommendations to counterparts and stakeholders in China on national, provincial and local level.
