A sound, business-friendly legal environment is of interest to all businesses operating in China. Created in 2000, the Legal and Competition Working Group fosters greater legal transparency and awareness of legal developments that affect foreign trade and investment in China. It also advocates for the strengthening of the rule of law and foreign businesses’ better access to the
Chinese market, including the legal services market. It is now comprised of approximately 480 individuals that represent over 270 member companies.
