The European Chamber is an advocacy organization and as part of the work of the Chamber offers a variety of events to members and the general public. The Marketing and Communications Assistant in South China Chapter is a comprehensive role and will be responsible for the Events planning and organising, Media relations and development of Chamber branding, office management and accounting, etc.

*This position is located in Shenzhen, occasionally in other cities of Guangdong.

Marketing

·      Assist to promote the marketing strategy plan and chamber activities through different marketing channels

·      Maintain the membership colleagues

·      Magazine and articles distribution

Media

·      Prepare e-newsletters (South China Focus)

·      Assist to design flyers and edit videos

·      Track marketing and communications industry news

·      Complete monthly media report and update the media database

·      Invite media to press conference or propose media cooperation plan

·      Post events on different online media channels

·      Explore new communication channels for advocacy

 Others

·      Office accounting and supply ordering

·      Other tasks assigned by the marketing manager

Skills & experience

·       PS/AI/PR or other design skills are preferred

·       Good command of written and spoken English

·       Media related experience is a plus

·       On board ASAP, be able to work 4-5 days per week.

·       Prefer 6 months of internship (at least 4 months)
