Job description
- Responsible for planning overseas performances of domestic cultural groups and promoting and selling Chinese culture in the international market.
- Responsible for planning and organizing overseas performances of Chinese projects, including managing performance schedules, itineraries, and technical requirements, and resolving issues and challenges during performances.
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand the overseas market for Chinese projects, including market analysis, identifying target markets, and determining market entry strategies. Seeking performance opportunities, exploring new markets, and establishing partnerships with relevant collaborators.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with overseas performance venues, agents, sponsors, etc. Negotiating and managing contracts and agreements with partners to ensure necessary support and resources for projects.
- Coordinating the work schedules of domestic and overseas colleagues and manage overseas performances with foreign partners.
- Developing budgets for overseas performance projects and overseeing project financials. Ensuring projects operate within budget and achieve anticipated sales revenue and profit goals.
- Developing marketing and promotional strategies for overseas performance projects, increasing project visibility and exposure through advertising, promotional activities, social media channels, etc., to attract the interest and participation of international audiences.
- Assisting the domestic lead in coordinating foreign performance matters (such as travel arrangements, logistics, accommodations, transportation, and dining) to ensure smooth performances.
- Leading and managing the performance project team, including project managers, assistants, etc. Providing guidance to team members, coordinating teamwork, and ensuring project goals are achieved. Providing necessary training and support to foster team member development.
Skills & experience
- Fluent in English with excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major related to culture and arts, familiar with Chinese drama.
- Overseas work and study experience (study experience in Europe and the United Stated preferred).
- Over 30 years of age, with at least 5 years of experience in cultural exchange work and a minimum of 5 years of team management experience.
- Proficiency in office software such as Windows and office.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
