Job description
- Develop sales strategies and plans for performance projects, including market analysis, target customer segments, sales objectives, and strategies. Ensure that the sales plan aligns with the company's business goals and effectively drives sales growth.
- Develop and manage the promotional sales plan (material production) for the performance projects targeting the Chinese market. Coordinate and collaborate with external relations, technical, and execution teams. Lead the sales team, including project managers and assistants, providing guidance, training, and support for the team members in implementing sales activities.
- Develop the touring schedule for the projects, coordinate with the execution team to manage the detailed itinerary and technical requirements for the tours, and facilitate communication with theaters.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data and trends for various performance venues. Understand sales performance through sales reports and analysis, identify potential opportunities and challenges, and propose relevant improvement measures.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients. Understand client needs, provide personalized solutions and services to facilitate sales closure, and strive for long-term client cooperation.
- Establish and develop partnerships with relevant stakeholders, such as performance venues, agents, sponsors, etc. Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with partners to ensure necessary support and resources for project sales activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Department to enhance the visibility and exposure of performance projects through advertisements, promotional activities, social media channels, etc., attracting the interest and participation of potential clients.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Engage in communication with the artistic team, marketing team, partners, and clients to ensure the transmission and understanding of information.
Skills & experience
Job requirements
- Passionate about classical music, and/or dance, ballet, or forms of performing arts, with a certain understanding of performances and domestic tour.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in any field.
- No gender preference, 30 years old or above, with more than 5 years of direct project management experience in theaters or experience in project promotion and sales in a performance agency. .
- Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.
- Familiar with Windows, Office and other Office software.
- Willingness to communicate with people, ability to handle stress, have strong understanding, logical thinking, and attention to details.
