Founded in Beijing in 1991 by Zezhou Wu and Jiatong Wu, Wu Promotion is one of China’s first and today leading performing arts promoters and event organizers. Wu Promotion is a major provider of performing art productions to professional theatres and concert halls across Asia, ranging from orchestra, choir and chamber music concerts to dance, opera and theater performances. Wu Promotion also hosts and co-organizes large-scale festivals and performing art events. In addition, we also arrange world tours for outstanding Asian performing art groups across the globe.

Job description
- Develop long-term and short-term goals for company promotion, and create strategies and plans to achieve these goals.
- Identify the company’s target audience, including potential customers, existing customers, and other stakeholders. Use market research and data analysis to determine the characteristics and preferences of the target audience.
- Ensure consistency and coherence in the company's brand image. Establish brand guidelines and ensure that all content in promotional activities aligns with the brand values and image.
- Responsible for crisis warning and major crisis public relations handling. Respond to and properly handle various emergencies that may arise at any time, such as major customer complaints, damage to brand reputation, and internal major malicious events.
- Maintain communication and foster positive relationships with domestic and international enterprises, government representatitves, foreign embassies in China, and cultural institutions to promote our projects and generate business opportunities through activities and regular project promotions.
- Develop diverse promotional channels and strategies, including advertising, public relations activities, social media, websites, trade shows, etc. Select suitable channels based on the characteristics of the target audience and ensure that the promotional information can be widely disseminated.
- Monitor and evaluate promotional activities, utilize data analysis tools and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the promotion. Make adjustments and optimizations based on the data results to improve the effectiveness and return on investment of the promotional activities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, such as marketing teams, designers, advertising agencies, to ensure coordination and operations at all levels to achieve shared promotional objectives. Develop a development plan for the membership club according to the company's business development strategy needs and supervise its implementation.
Skills & experience
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or other related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, communications, or business administration preferred.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, with preference given to those with proficiency in a second language and overseas study/work experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong leadership and execution abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented, with extensive project management experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
- Experience in the cultural and music industry is preferred.
