Agenda
We are regret to inform you that the meeting on Friday, 25th February 2005, in Shanghai has been postponed. Apologies to everyone who has confirmed their attendance.
The first Pharmaceutical Working Group meeting in 2005 will now take place on Friday 18th March 2005 in the Chambers new office in Beijing. Please join us to discuss the most important issue for the WG- distribution of pharmaceutical products in China. We expect to be joined by a representative from Zuellig & Woo who will provide an update on the current situation. This will help us shape our program of activities in the coming year for this topic.
We also hope to take a decision at the meeting regarding joining the EU-China Industrial Dialogue Policy, which could help to further our lobbying activities vis-a-vis NDRC.
The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:
1. Presentation and discussion by Zuellig & Woo on the further opening of distribution of pharmaceutical products
2. Decision to launch Industrial Policy Dialogue for the Pharmaceutical sector
3. Organization & Funding of SIPO SFDA Trip to Europe
4. Election of a new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson
The Chairperson and Vice Chairperson will play key roles in driving the development of the Working Group in 2005. With support from Rhian Kelly as Business Manager, taking up this key position will enable you to help promote the Working Group activities and communicate targeted messages on behalf of industry to senior policy makers in China and Europe. You would also serve as spokesperson in efforts to raise the Group visibility in the media.
