Dear Working Group Members,

In 2019, a significant overhaul of the individual income tax (“IIT”) system has been introduced with a number of changes like IIT calculation method, redefinition of tax resident and non-resident, introduction of additional itemized deductions, transition period for certain preferential policy, etc. for individuals of Chinese or foreign nationality.

2019年个人所得税制度进行了重大改革，无论中国籍或是外籍员工，有一些具体的变化包括：个税计算方法、税收居民/非居民的重新定义、专项附加扣除的引入、一些特定优惠政策的过渡期适用等。

The 2019 PRC IIT annual filing has already commenced since 1 March 2020. As the employers or employees, you must have lots of questions, who is required to file such return? What kind of income shall be included for the IIT annual filing purposes? What is the detailed procedures or requirement? In this webinar, we would like to share with our interpretations on relevant regulations and help you have a better understanding and get well prepared for this filing.

自2020年3月1日起，2019年新个税法下的首个年度汇算清缴季已经开始。作为雇主或雇员，想必您一定有许多疑惑，谁必须提交此类申报？年度汇算清缴申报种应包括哪些收入？详细的程序或要求又是如何？ 在本次网络研讨会中，我们希望与大家分享对相关法规的解释，以帮助您更好地理解并为此次申报做好充分准备。

Sunny has 12 years of experience in financial and tax area, and she is familiar with Chinese accounting standards, taxation, foreign exchange administration, and investment policies. She is a CCTA (China Certified Tax Agent).

With a deep understanding of PRC IIT regulations and practice, Sunny has provided personal tax advisory and compliance services for many expatriate employees, and also provided tax advisories for large companies or groups’ share-based incentive plans.
