Dear Working Group members,
The Human Resources Working Group is pleased to invite you to a briefing on foreigners’ work permit approval and work resumption policies in Shanghai, which is taking place on Friday, 8th May, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm on Zoom.
On 10th March, the Shanghai Municipality announced important policy updates that aim at expanding online work permit applications during the COVID-19 pandemic and at delivering service guarantees to support foreign experts through work resumption in Shanghai. To keep abreast of these key HR policies, we will host a government official from the Foreign Expert Bureau of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission.
Held in Chinese language, this briefing will review how the new measures apply to businesses and employees as per the latest “Notice on the Implementation of Online Approval Process for Matters Related to Foreigner’s Work Permit in Shanghai” by the city’s government.
Agenda
14:00-14:10 Opening Remarks and Introduction
14:10-14:55 Presentation by Ms. Wang Haiyan, Foreign Expert Bureau of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission
