Sponsored by the China New Energy Chamber of Commerce, the 3rd China New Energy International Forum will take place from Thurs 27th to Fri 28th November at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, aiming to promote policy discussion and consensus reaching on the prospect of new energy under global energy predicament.
”At present, the unbalance between the demand and supply of conventional energy and rapid rise of energy price have restricted the development of global economy and societies. At the same time, the global warming caused by the over-emission of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) is threatening the sustainable development of human society seriously. It has become the focus of every country in the world to make great effort to develop and utilize the new energy and relevant technology,
China, the country of producing and consuming large amount of energy, now is facing the pressure from the shortage of energy and the environmental protection. Making great effort to develop and utilize new energy is the inevitable choice for China to actualize the sustainable development of national economy. In the medium and long-term development plan, the Chinese government brings forward the share of the renewable energy in the energy composition will reach around 15% by 2020. The “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” points out the renewable energy should be developed vigorously, the favorable fiscal and taxation policies, the favorable investment policy and the mandatory market share policy should be implemented, the production and consumption of renewable energy should be encouraged.
Under this background, China New Energy Chamber of Commerce of ACFIC worked out to hold the “3rd China New Energy International Forum” from 27th to 28th Nov 2008 in Diaoyutai State Guesthouse of Beijing. The scheme of the forum is “Prospect of New Energy in Global Energy Predicament”. Many government leaders from new energy fields, domestic and overseas industrial and commercial giants, experts and scholars will exchange their ideas on the hot issues in the new energy industry, and will discuss the development of new energy industry in the Forum. The Forum will create a platform for high-end communication and cooperation in the fields of policy, market, technology, capitals etc. to fight the dilemma of the shortage of conventional energy effectively.
