Janet is a Tax partner of Deloitte based in Southern China. She has over 20 years of experience in business and tax advisory services for clients in various industries. She is the leader of Deloitte indirect tax team in Southern China and the core team member of Business Model Optimization service team in Southern China.

Janet is specialized in providing Value Added Tax and other tax advisory services and business model optimization services, assisting in communication and negotiation with tax and customs authorities for tax and customs disputes. She has provided services to lots of multinational corporations of different sectors in China and assisted them to comply with the relevant tax regulations, mitigate the risks and improve tax efficiency.

Janet actively interacted with various authorities such as tax authority, customs authority and commerce departments on newly issued tax regulations e.g., the draft VAT Law, RCEP, EU VAT reform, etc., and shared our observations on the impacts on different enterprises.

Janet is recognized by International Tax Review, a leading publication, as a leading Global Indirect Tax and Customs Partner. Janet has rich theoretical tax knowledge as well as practical experience. She has been invited to give lectures at Sun Yat-sen University and Xiamen University. She also made presentation in respect of PRC customs in various forums and conferences.

Ms. Feifei Li is Deloitte Private and Global Employer Service (GES) leading partner in Southern mainland China with over 20 years of relevant professional experiences.

Feifei’s clients include many well-known multinational companies and large-scale China state-owned/private enterprises. She mainly provides tax compliance and advisory services, business/working visas services and HR consulting services for expatriates, senior executives and Chinese outbound employees. She also provides consulting services on employee investment plan, equity incentive plan, domestic and overseas shareholding platforms and the related tax compliance and consulting services, and she coordinates with the relevant overseas member firms to resolve the relevant foreign tax issues. With regard to the increasingly strengthened tax administrations, she assists companies in negotiating with tax officials on tax-related matters, etc.

Feifei has also been providing business and tax advisory services in relation to overseas investments for high-net-worth individuals (“HNWIs”)/families and their businesses. Ms. Winnie Lu has more than 17 years of tax experience with Deloitte and is fluent in Japanese and English. She is currently a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte and based on Guangzhou.
Winnie has provided professional services to dozens of Japanese, European and American multinational corporations, large state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, and high net worth individuals. She mainly provides China individual income tax consulting and compliance services, business and tax advisory services in relation to overseas investments for high-net-worth individuals (“HNWIs”)/families and their businesses; assists clients to deal with China tax compliance risk investigations; and provides consulting related to equity incentive schemes, including equity incentive scheme design and consulting; analysis and optimization of tax impacts related to equity incentive schemes; a series of landing procedures for equity incentive schemes; and tax filings and compliance declarations related to equity incentive schemes, etc. She is familiar with the general rules of the China tax authorities.
Winnie is familiar with the general operation of Chinese tax authorities and has in-depth experience in assisting companies and individuals in tax compliance filing, tax optimization and tax negotiation.
