Dear Legal & Taxation WG Members,
I am delighted to invite you to our next Taxation Working Group meeting on 26th October. At this meeting Jacky Chu, IAS partner with PwC will focus on the “Indivudual Income Tax” updates.
Overview of PRC IIT implications and exposures for expatriate employees (including business travelers) working in the PRC;
Relevant PRC IIT compliance requirements applicable to expatriate employees and their employers;
Experience sharing and updates on PRC IIT administration and practice in Guangzhou;
Case sharing on recent tax audit experience; and Q&A
Working Group Chair election
At this meeting we will elect the Working Chairs and Vice Chairs for the coming year. The Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Working Group meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts that has the time and willingness to support the group.
