We are pleased to invite you for this year's first Energy and Utility Policy Working Group meeting, which will take place on Tuesday 28th February 2006 at the European Chamber in Beijing at 2pm.
Following hard on the heels of the EU-China Energy Conference and after the successful seminar with NDRC earlier this month, we look forward to discussions on the current topics at hand, such as energy efficiency and security, renewable energy, and advancing the concerns highlighted in the 2005 Position Paper to our key Chinese interlocutors. We anticipate that discussion will begin the process of compiling the 2006 Energy & Utility Policy Position Paper.
Our tentative agenda for this meeting is:
1. Update on WG and Chamber advocacy activities
2. Position Paper 2006
3. WG Elections
We look forward to welcoming you at this meeting and would appreciate if you could indicate your attendance before Friday 24th February 2006. Please note that there are a limited number of seats available.
